Pygmy seahorses

We have been learning to take notes and then using the notes to make an information slip
I enjoyed writing
Have you seen a real pygmy seahorse before?

Pygmy seahorses are one of the smallest seahorses in the world and they are 2 cm tall.

They are so fragile the need to hide in Coral .Its critical to their survival. Orange seahorses live in orange sea  fan . Purple seahorses live in purple sea  fan.

But the question  is do they find coral to match their colour or do they change their color to match the coral?

Some scientists caught a orange mating pair off  pygmy seahorses  and for the first time they survived  they watched the mating pair of seahorses doing their daily courtship dance and the babies coming out of their fathers brood pouch. At first they were a dull brown color.

The scientists thought if they put a purple sea fan with the babies
and they got their answer the baby seahorses turned purple and tubercles which is bumps to match the coral.

Amazing work for the week

This work is one off the the best I have done yet. The writing was actually  quite hard to understand but once I had it, it was easy.
